Welcome to Somatics Tampa. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and the services offered by Somatics Tampa, LLC ("Somatics Tampa," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this site or booking a session with us, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.
Our Services
Somatics Tampa offers medical massage and hands-on Somatic education, based on the Essential Somatics / Pandiculation method developed from Thomas Hanna's work, to help relieve chronic pain, tension, and restricted movement. Our approach combines skilled bodywork with nervous-system retraining, and we teach clients self-care techniques to use between sessions.
These services are not a substitute for medical care. Somatics Tampa does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition or disease. Nothing on this website or provided during a session should be taken as medical advice. Always consult a licensed physician or qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition, injury, or concern, and before beginning any new bodywork or movement practice.
Client Health & Responsibility
You agree to disclose any relevant health conditions, injuries, surgeries, or concerns prior to your session so that your practitioner can work with you safely. Somatics work involves guided movement and hands-on touch; you're always welcome to pause, adjust, or stop a technique at any time during a session. Participation is voluntary, and you assume responsibility for communicating your comfort level and limits throughout your session.
All new clients are required to review and sign our Waiver and Consent Form: www.somaticstampa.com/waiver prior to their first session. That waiver sets out additional terms specific to your participation, including assumption of risk and acknowledgment that our services are not a substitute for medical care. By booking a session, you agree to complete the waiver, and its terms are incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference. Services are available to clients 18 years of age or older.
Booking Sessions
Sessions may be requested through this website or by contacting us directly. Booking is currently handled through our scheduling partner, Noterro, a third-party platform. Your use of that booking system is also subject to Noterro's own terms and privacy practices, which are separate from this website. Booking a session does not guarantee an appointment until confirmed by Somatics Tampa and, for new clients, receipt of a completed waiver. Online payment is not currently enabled on this site; payment arrangements will be communicated directly at the time of booking or service.
Cancellations
We understand that plans change. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please let us know as soon as you're able so we can offer that time to another client. Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, are subject to a $30 fee. Somatics Tampa reserves the right to update its cancellation policy at any time; any specific requirements will be communicated directly to clients.
Photo & Testimonial Release
By working with Somatics Tampa, you agree that we may use your feedback, testimonials, and/or photographs (excluding any protected health information) in our marketing materials, including this website and social media, unless you tell us in writing that you'd prefer we not do so. We will never share identifiable health details without your explicit permission.
Website Content & Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Somatics Tampa, LLC unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Somatics Tampa, LLC and its practitioners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or participation in our services. Services are provided at the client's own risk, and clients are encouraged to consult their physician before beginning any new wellness practice. Additional liability, assumption-of-risk, and indemnification terms are set out in the Waiver and Consent Form: www.somaticstampa.com/waiver. All clients agree to these terms as a condition of receiving services.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or for legal reasons. The most current version will always be posted on this page.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
